Creature Combination Station

These are pastel drawings from way back last winter. I had to do a final project for my Liberal Studies class, and what better project to do than create a bunch of animal hodge-podges. I asked the class to come up with to animals for me to mix up, and then randomly chose 5 of them. I kept a sketchbook of concepts and different ways of combining the two critters. I wanted the combination to be attractive and relatively seamless, but I still wanted people to be able to tell what animals were combined to make the creatures. Some turned out better than others. My favs are the alligator-panda and the zebra-bunny.
