I love doing pixel art... its a pain in the ass, but the outcome is so rewarding and the results of pixeling is unlike what any other "medium" can do. :D

This is for ~lightstep's pixel challange. She asked me to do something for it when she first issued the challange, and I have just now gotten to it. And I did a giraffe because... well... how many pixel giraffes have you seen? And giraffes are cool too. :) The giants of dry land.

Done in PSP7/MSpaint (my paint program is screwed up, so I always have to work part in both programs)

*Edit* Okay, just to clarify since there have been so many comments about this. I made this with no reference. I just sat down and made a giraffe. It has some anatomy errors, but without reference there are going to be. Thank you for the DD and all the praise and critiques. :)

Giraffe by *Freha is a large pixel piece that still holds a lot of detail. Not only is the technical skill in the shading very nice, but the anatomy looks great as well. (Featured by ^armaina)
