This is 2 of 4 illustrations I'm doing as a final project in my Adv. Illustration class. Each of the illustrations portrays a creature I created.
I don't really know what to say about this guy... just that he is a golden colored boar with violet shrooms growing out of his back.
It's really late and all I want to do is sleep.

...well, you know, with pigs and the finding truffles thing... okay so they're not quite that kind of mushroom... it made sense at the time!
I couldn't tell the mushrooms were actually growing from his back, though. I thought he was just standing in front of where they grew before I read your description. However, I really like his head, those hairy ears and whiskery snout are nicely done, as well as all the skin wrinkles in his face and jowls. It really gives his features character.
