Hmmm.... lets see if this works.... I have that feeling that it won't tho. I'm trying to upload this with a transparent bg... but my program wants to make a white bg, grrrrr.

Anyway, this is my first pixel art! I worked 5 or 6 days on this(I lost track of the days, lol) I didn't really know how to make a "shiny" effect with pixel art, and to make it look like the mare's body is absorbing the light, so I bs-ed it. :) This was done with a mouse and no photo refrence was used.

Any tips or tricks are welcome to help me sort out this kind of stuff would be welcomed! :D


Edit: Yay! Fixed the bg! Thanks to a little help from , she got me started, and from this site [link] and their wonderful tutorial on makeing bgs transparent! I HIGHLY recomend this site for tutorials in just about every program you can do pixel art in. :D Thank you!

The amount of time you've spent on it deffinetley shows. This is amazing, I especially love her face and the detail in her tail. Brilliant work.

Holy crap. I've never been able to use pixels, so add another couple quarts of disbelief onto that.

:D Thanks, I have worked with equines forever, so that part was easy.... But the entire thing was done with a mouse... click click click... XP I had to take breaks every 5 mins or risk developing carpul tunnle (sp?)
