Well, I went to the vet and had my girls checked over. They got a clean bill of health, no mites and 100% healthy and happy. So that means I'm the one who changed. The vet gave me a special allergy reducing shampoo to bathe the girls with once a week, so we are going to use that in combination with some Benadryl to keep my allergies down. Once my girls pass, that will be the end of ratties. I just hope that one day I will be able to have them once again.

This is directed to anyone in the Mid Michigan area. I NEED A RAT-SITTER!! My brother is moving to Florida and my family and I are going down there for a week to help him move in. Thus the need for a rat-sitter. I can't leave the girls on their own for that long, they need daily attention, not just food and water. They will need to be cared for over the week of the 18th... I know, last minute... but the friend who has watched them in the past can't watch them this time. I need someone close to Lansing, who is a rat owner/or has owned rats would be the best, or someone who knows how to care for small animals.
