For the wonderful *moonfeather's contest... I just couldn't resist.

Coloration: Appaloosa
Sex: Female
Story: Melaynii had always been fond of nature. She thought the natural world held more jewels with in it than any Shi'Rah's jewel-box ever could. She could sit for hours on end under the few trees that dapple the plains near her home. The cool blue shade turning her spotted hide even more dappled. She would watch the bits of light that filtered through the leaves play across her coat and over the grass beneath her feet. Jewels never dazzled quite like them... if only she could bottle them up and wear them as trinkets... she would wear them always. Everyone thought her odd for not decorating herself with pretty trinkets and jewels, but she just never found lifeless rocks and metals to be appealing when compared to what beauty nature could so easily drape upon her......
